Basically, you have to pull the A/C evaporator/fan/airbox assembly. You will need to replace the lower metal facia, lower console pieces and console side panels.

i have an air conditioned center console on my '71. since removing the a/c, i've been wanting to pull out the a/c console for a storage console. what all has to come out to do the switch?
