i have a line on a csl. can anybody tell me what makes up a csl? what i have is light guage steel front clip skins, alloy doors, hood, and trunk. the vin number appears to be in the batmobile range. whats the difference between a batmobile and a regular csl. i have white or silver only, alpina 14x7" wheels, steering wheel, 3153cc 206HP, front air dam, air guides, lightweight rear bumper, wing kit, graphics/decals.

how can you tell an engine is 3153cc vs. the lower displacements? is the chassis serial number stamped on the engine to validate numbers (if so where is it?) did all batmobiles come with wing kits?

the car is silver, has light rust in the pillars, behind the glovebox with some bubbling over the right rear fender well. the left shock tower has some cracks. interior has electric windows, sport seats, it has front air dam, alpina wheels and what i think is a batmobile steering wheel. there is little documentation with the car. it looks and drives nice, is unrestored except for mechanicals and a paint job.

are there any legal issues with a a euro car in the us?

the asking price is in the mid 20K range. is this resonable?

thanks in advance,

Jason
