I've just had my car (73 CSi) serviced and the mechanic thought that the throttle was a bit stiff. He greased it (including the shaft behind the pedal) and freed some of the layshaft linkages in front of the firewall - they had some rust in them. Now the throttle is sticking badly.
I remember reading in the archives a suggestion that the throttle linkages on the CSi don't resond to lubrication but I can't find it again. Can anyone help with advice and/or remedies.
