Looking at a 3.0CSA (archive)

I work in this garag where we are restoring a 72 (I think) 3.0 CSA. The owner also has another 72 CSA that he will scrap for parts if he cannot get $3000 for it. Here's the thing, it was in better shape than the car he is currently restoring! The vinyl is practically new, the wood is good except for the intrument cluster, and the car runs and drives great. There is rust (of course) but my boss has seen teh underside of the car and says that there is not too much. What do these cars go for, anyhow? The paint is good and showing 3 signs of bubbles (I know that it has rust.) It currently has Webbers on it, which I may be able to trade to the current owner for a reduction in price (I will swap in a built 3.5 (maybe turbo) engine in the future). What do you (collectively) think? I already have an E28 M5, an E28 535iS, a tow vehicle, a motorcycle, and my girlfriend's Alfa Spider to deal with. I always wanted an E9, but this seems like such a good deal that I think it is worth getting now before these cars all but disappear. If you have any comments that all of these veterans have heard before, please feel free to email me off list. Thanks!

P. Muskopf (too many cars is a term that does not exist in my world)
