Any idea of the real reason for salvage?
Is there rust?
what parts of it are shabby?

the car is not half as nice as it shows in pictures. Also it is a US car and I think it was salvaged a couple years back and that is why the plates are recent CA plates. His story is kind of fishy. But, he does own a Mercedes repair and restoration shop with lots of older Benz's.
