and sunny, the less comfortable and practical

HVAC system is pretty crappy, as are the
wipers. Moisture will rot the car out ASAP.

I know of a few folks who drive their coupes daily, but they live in dry climates. Driving a coupe in the rain on a regular basis is bad idea, and winter salts will eat it up in a year.

The drivetrains are sturdy and parts reasonably priced and easy to find. It's the coachwork that is moisture intolerant and expen$ive to repair. Same goes for the '02, tho' they rust more slowly.
