I have a 74 CS so mine is the updated way (left is turn signal/highbeam, right is washer/wiper-only). The steering column is actually quiet different from an earlier CS, so I doubt you can just swap a few parts over (assuming you can find 74/75 parts to swap). Just get used to it, in my opinion.
