Any car will emit white smoke from the tail pipe
when first started on a cool day. Water is a natural by product of combustion, and the white smoke is usually condensation burning out of the mufflers. If after a few minutes of driving, unless extremely cold ambient temp., white smoke should be barely visible, or gone altogether. If it is present in a large cloud, and smells sickeningly sweet, then suspect a compromise in the cooling system.
