Were the trunk hoses you replaced for the expansion tank or the fuel tank? Check all of them and the fuel sending gasket on the tank.

If all that is OK, and all the hoses from the tank to the engine are OK, check the tank seam for rust/perforation. The foam gasket the factory used to cushion the tank traps water against the tank.
