You guys were absolutely correct. Took the hoses off and couldn't have got a badgers hair through the middle any of them.

Replacement gives me a significant improvement in brake performance but i'm still left with an oddity.

Pedal feel varies from almost full/hard to very soft with long travel - often in the space of five minutes and a couple of miles. There appears to be no relationship between driving style and pedal feel in fact it appears completely random.

The only clue I've got is that a couple of pumps at any time and the pedal becomes quite hard - regardless of whether it was soft or hard when I started pumping.

Got me and a couple of others perplexed. Any ideas?
