especially along the rockers, since they are a greater part of the stiffness in a car that has no B-pillars. The visible rockers are in fact just a cover, removed after taking out a few phillips headed screws.

Fenders rust along the lips. Doors rust at their corners first, then along top and bottom edges from condensation and trapped water respectively.

The infamous hole within a hole is at the upper back of the inner fenders. Open the glove box, shine a light in at the firewall. If you see rust there, it's a bad sign, and that's only on one side.

BTW, coupes are unit body cars and thus have no frame from which you can remove stuff. But you already knew that.
