The AUS dollar is extremely weak against the US dollar. If you are doing a full restoration, you might save a ton of money by shipping one down there (or better, buy one there) and having the restoration done at this shop.

With this in mind, I once emailed the owner of this shop to get a price quote. His answer was "it depends." I already have a coupe I'm working on, so I didn't look into the shipping cost, but I think it would be circa $1500. Maybe less, maybe you could share a 40' container with a couple of others, etc.

Bottom line, I am sure you would save a substantial sum by having it done down there (this is one reason movie production is fleeing the US for Canada and Australia). If you are going to do a full blown $20k restoration down to the frame, spending $1500 for shipping could result in a huge net savings on the final price.
