How workable is it to replace an AT with manual transmission in 3.0 or 2800 CSi? I've come across an interesting AT, but really prefer standard.

On a related note, I've heard of a few cars with replacement 535 engines - is this too pretty straight-forward, or something to watch out for? Thanks for any input!
