Just take them off man. the car will look good with a csl airdam and a glass rear bumper. I know how you feel about no bumpers but what the hell, you only live once.


I'm in CA and there are no inspections here. I figure if anyone hits the car, I'm screwed regardless of which bumpers I have.

Anyway... looks to me that the rear is easy enough but the front is not doable. Or doable with some serious body type work. The front clip is a bit different and the '74 has big roundish shocks instead of bumper brackets.

I'm going to try and compare with a friend's pre-74 side-byy-side to see where the rear mounts line up. Hopefully the three big holes for the socks don't coincide (ont he outer two) with the Euro mount points. If they do, a bit of body work is in order before I can put the rear none on.

Basically, it sucks but I'm sure it's doable.
