Where does the "F" pipe go? On the thermostat cover or back of the engine, next to fire wall / heater inlet & outlet.
I also lucked out, the carb setup I picked up came complete with manifolds and linkages (middle carb throttle linkage missing). Like you said, the complete setup can be expensive, (inlet manifolds and triple 40 weber) over $1700 NEW, from what I have seen on the web and I think that's without linkages.
cable linkage idea sounds good. I wonder how much the setup costs? mo money mo money mo money...
BY any chance, do you have pictures of your engine bay?
