here's the best photo I could do in the garage. i need to pull it out in the day time and try to do something better. What you see here is the end of the F-shaped pipe, one goes to the overflow tank (the visibale one), the other to the heater. The left end goes under the carbs toward the thermostat housing and connects to the housing via a hose.

Oh and you'll need a fuel pump and all that. Your new head won't have the mount point for the old mechanical one but if it does you need to seal it.

I have a stock distributor with vacuum advance and retard. Not sure what you mean about the nut but if you explain i'll take a look. this is not the distributor to use with this setup...
