I'm not sure what you're getting at. In modern times, BMW cars and motorcycles have often been built on multiple model assembly lines. For instance, in the late 1970's, as assembly was moved out of Munich, 5, 6, and 7 series were built on the same line in Dingolfing. When BMW started manufacturing the K series of motorcycles in 1984, they were built right alongside the old R series twins.
