Well, you've covered most of the areas, plus floor pans and rear shock towers. My CSL is a pretty rust free car, but the tire well was totally rusted on the bottom, so that is not a major indication of the condition of the rest of the car, and the easiest rust repair panel that could be replaced. Look at this album; I have pictures of the most of these areas.
As far as mechanicals, it is not any different than buying other cars, same routines.
