In regard to possible complaints and due to the fact that in the end we don't want to force someone to buy the Certificate just to get information about a vehicle, I can tell you that we will proceed in the future as follows:
Those people, who don't need or want something elaborate, which one can also hang up the wall, like the Certificate, will get information about their automobile or motorcycle for free, if they send an email or call.
Those owners, who need production date and delivery information to get their vehicle registered or to get new registration papers, will get a so-called "Herstellerbescheinigung" on BMW Mobile Tradition letterhead, and this will
cost Euro 25,--, which is about US $ 23.
I hope you can see that this will again be customer-friendly and that we are interested in providing a perfect service.
What we cannot change is the price and the way to order Certificates for US customers.
