My 73 3.0CS, restored in 85 and driven about 8k since, is for sale in Austin, TX. Asking $15,000. Car won several local BMWCCA car show events shortly after restoration completed. Thought better to sell than let it sit unused any longer. Basically, I like the comfy, quiet relaxed ride of my 750iL so driving the noiser/busier older cars now drives me nuts so to speak.

For twenty years I have wanted a 2800 or 3.0. Ebay has one in N.Carolina that looks good. Should I wait for a fuel injected model or do the weber carbs work well. I am asking for advice. I drove a '74 2002 tii in college so am somewhat familiar with old cars. Can anyone help?
