I've forgotten the exact details, but I think there are differences between the US model 6 cyl. CS's and the euro 6's and 2000CSs. There is a metal piece that maybe clips the front edge of the header panel (that holds the sunvisors) to the top of the windshield opening. The result is that the opening in the inside of the rubber seal is larger. If you put one of these seals in the euro 6 or 2000CS, it won't seal properly. Or at least that is what I remember. I do believe the windshields are the same shape, tho as noted, the 2000CS had clear glass (as do at least some of the euro cars. Apparently, most if not all of the US cars were ordered by the distributor with tinted glass. Oh, be sure you get an OEM, preferably BMW, windshield. I have an aftermarket one in one car and it doesn't fit properly and I have read of others with the same experience.
