Q:Does the disk brakes also have additional pressure regulators / boosters for each of rear disk brakes?
A: the proportioning valve is rumored to be different, you may want to caontact Carl Nelson at CNPR in La Jolla for a rebuilt one for a later-model 3.0

Q: Also do I HAVE to change my existing rear flexible lines and the master cylinder? Since I have recently replaced the flex. hoses & rebuilt my master cylinder for my drum brakes.
A: your recently-new brake line flex hoses will be fine. Many people "insist" that you can use your old master cylinder, just as many "insist" that you have to get a bigger one. Remember that the brakes are engineered as a unified system which is made of a) larger-volume rear calipers (versus the old brake cylinders) b) a different proportioning valve and c) a larger-volume master cylinder. Keeping your smaller dia. master will work, but likely require more pedal pressure, BUT you may think you have more control over brake modulation, BUT the front-to-rear bias of the brakes will be different. Try it and see what your seat-of-pants judgement is.

Hope this helps,

Dale Phelps
