Hood Adjustment Advice (archive)

Any one have experience with adjusting the hood that can either show (Bay Area), tell or help (Bay Area) me? It works but it is two person operation to prevent scratching it. When closed the spacing is right but it doesn't quite sit flat at the front corners. I am fearful of making things worse...
