your motor is probably out of anything from the following, and I'm just listing things that came with automatics as an option and putting a "e" for Euro-only and a "u" for USA-only. This is as best i know it anyway:

E9 models:
2800CS
3.0CS
2.5CS e

E3 models:
2500
2800 e?
Bavaria 2.8 u
Bavaria 3.0 u
3.0S
2.8L e
3.0L e
3.3L e

These motors all have the same double-Zenith setup. horsepower numbers are up for debate, I doubt anyone has exact figures every person will agree on.

The other cars are fuel injected. The only ones where EFI and automatic were avaliable are the 3.0Si and 3.3Li (euro). Automatics weren't really avaliable on 3.0CSi and carb or injected 3.0CSL.

If you have the 3.2/3.3L Euro motor (not the USA one) you scored an awesome setup that has more power than any other ones from the list.
