Rumours of BMW-issue Minichamps 1:18 CSL in Golf. (archive)

A friend who makes a point of visiting 1:18 scale diecast boards and such related to me today that BMW will indeed have a 1:18 Minichamps-produced '72 CSL for sale to compliment the regular production issue Silver (Polaris) model a few of you undoubtably own. Said friend related that the color appeared to be an intense light green which I would presume to be Golf. No part number as yet, and no way to independently confirm this to my knowledge at present. Let's hope...
