The recent question about roping in CS windows made me think of my situation. I own a '72 CSL. As I'm sure all of you realise, the rear quarter windows of this car are made of plexiglass, and are permanently fixed in place. Roll-up mechanism deleted to save weight.

I've often thought it would be nice to be able to snap these quarter windows in and out easily, like the "side curtains" on early British (and other) cars.

Has anyone attempted this modification?
