1972 3.0 csi safety windshield glass/seatbelts (archive)

hi there. are there any improved seatbelts for the 3.0 csi? I've noted that the ones on a car i'm looking at are sort of slow in reaction time. also, do european csi's have glass that is more dangerous than us models? i know that the us has high standards as far as glass goes -- if i buy a european car should i replace the glass and if so how do i do this?
