The DOT and EPA exemption is 25 years or older. You can import any of these cars at this point and pay 2.5 % duty. I know because I am looking at a 75 CSL that might be in my collection soon. I just need to go look at the car myself. Not that they rust or anything...... As for prices.... you get what you pay for in most cases. Some cars are cheap for a reason.
