I run 16" BBS RS' with 215/55's (Kumhos). This tire size is tall but it works well and looks good - not too stiff or too low profile. If I did it again, I would probably go with 205/50's all around to allow for rotating or staggered sizes between front and rear (205/55 and 225/50).

Carl Nelson will tell you that 14" wheels and tires will handle the best with a Coupe suspension. I have heard this from others as well. They are also more period correct.

But I'd love a set of 16" Alpinas.


Will the 15 spoke, 17" rims feaured in the link below fit E9's?
