Depends on what you call maintenance, and to what standard. I spent almost that last year, but it included bringing some systems up to my standard from a substandard starting point. I suspect my standard is way below Merdad's. Is that maintenance or rehab? And averaged over what period of time? Individual information is statistically antecdotal.

i'm wondering about what to expect the range to be for yearly maintenance with a less-than 100k mile 3.0 csi (1972) I know that results may vary, but a friend told me that she spent $4000 in maintenance, car rentals and tuneups last year and that sounds really high. any comments will be appreciated. thanks.
