If you rotate the wheel 180 degrees the dished part of the wheel will be backwards and the light source will be the ground.

Bill, if you rotate each wheel 180 degrees, you will also follow the laws of light, and have the shadows in the correct position. :)

Remember - law of perspective: The minor axis of an elipse follows the line of the axle, and it helps to have a sharp wheel.
