Unfortunately you will first need to remove the windshield and I think you do need to remove the heater and a/c evaporator core. Then there are 2, 5mm nuts to release the instrument panel, there are 2, 5mm nuts above the instrument panel securing nuts to release the instrument binnacle (instrument hood). Once the windshield is out you can remove the upper dash pad, be careful the upper pad is fragile. Once you remove the pad you will see a strip that runs along the top edge of the dash wood that is attached with phillips head screws. Remove the metal strip that runs along the lower dash pad, it has pins that push into metal clips in the lower dash pad. Once removed you will see phillips head screws that secure the lower dash pad. Once you have removed the lower pad look under the dash shelf and you will see 4 or 5 bolts that secure the vinyl covered wood to the dash shelf. Once you have removed these bolts the vinyl covered wood dash shelf will come out and the dash wood is mounted to the dash shelf with small phillips head screws. All of the parts are somewhat fragile so take your time and if you need more help let me know.
