FINALLY today I finished installing a 1984 635 Euro 3.5L w/triple side drafts 40DCOE and a 5 spd tranny, in my 1970 2800CSA.
BUT the car won't start from the ignition switch. I tried every thing!!!!!!
The car starts (boy it sounds GOOD!!!!) when I take a direct wire from batteries pos. terminal and connect it to the starter. But the starter wouldn't turnover from the ignition switch....
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong with starter electric wiring?
Why the car is not starting from the ignition switch?
Anybody know about manual tranny ignition switch and starter wiring setup?

Maybe I should but a PUSH start button switch (connecting directly to stator and battery), with toggle switch for the fuel pump.....

TIA
