I've never seen or heard of the percentage being marked.

From what I've learned, up to '71 models were 40%, then from '72 on, all seem to have been 25%. This was for original equipment.

From the orange parts books, only the early 2800/CSs had 40% LSDs. All the 3.0s and apparently even the later 2.8s got 25%. I also checked the early 6 series books I have and they only list 25% LSDs.
