Is there some tranny noise there also? I have a 265 conversion - it whines under acceleration and deceleration.

Have you checked the oil level in the diff.

PS - I am in Sydney Aust - where are you located - your email has .au on it.

Just wondering----I presume it is normal to get a small amount of noise under acceleration [whining sort of noise] from the diff??
