points are the contact breakers inside your distributor. If you have an electronic ign. it's probably not the source of your problem.

Also, you might wan't to check your fuel pump pressure. I'm not sure how many bar/lbs it should be, but if it's to low it will rob the engine of fuel/power.

change gas filter
check the fuel pressure regulator
check your points

My CSi isīnt running fine when not accelerating and it seems to loose power in higher revs (>4500), any tips?
