That was their test weight, i.e. with driver and gas in tank. I don't remember exactly what amounts they used to use but they were always consistent between different tests. They showed a curb weight (mfrs spec) of 2990 lbs. The test car had 4 speed, leather seats and looks like manual front windows. U.S. spec car, but no A/C. 0-60 time was 9.3 secs. 1/4 mile in 17.4 secs at 82mph and top speed of 126mph. Got 19mpg from premium gas in "normal driving". All this from February 1970 issue.
