clarification from UK (archive)

Looks like all the systems that were ordered were made the same way. There's a terminology problem with the silencers, resonators, mufflers, etc. so I'll just refer to them as the front, center, and rear boxes.

The stock 2800CS system omits the center box, but the 2-box systems from the UK omit the front box and replace it with a 2-into-1 pipe.

All the orders we have manufactured are for the ones that miss the centre
silencer out, which we class as the first silencer in the middle of the
vehicle and not the one in the centre of the system. The system will still
fit the vehicle and should sound very nice.

I received both systems today and one of them looks to be different from the
OEM setup. The correct setup is with 3 silencers for the 3.0CS, and 2
silencers (omitting the MIDDLE silencer) for the 2800CS. The
omitted-silencer system I received omits the front silencer, but has the
middle silencer.
