After seven 2002's,one 1600,one 2500,one TII and one 87 L6,I finally have a red Euro CS which I enjoyed very much till the starter would spin but not engage. No problem I thought, common starter, piece of cake. After removing the rear carb, grinding down a 17m wrench and getting antifreeze all over the street I discovered the flywheel was down to about nothing.
My local mechanic was going to work on a bid for me but I haven't heard a word in a week.
Questions:Does the Euro have a different flywheel from the US version. Are there other years, models that will fit?
Also the speedo is fine but the odometer(separate cable)is just hanging and I can't find a home for it.
I just found this board and I would appreciate the help and hope I can help others.
