You're right the African market M745i was in fact the dual cam M88 motor, and I think that IS what Matthew is asking about.

Matthew, yes, you can use it with your trans, but be forwarned part of the reason twin-cam motors can be gotten cheap, is they are extremely expensive to rebuild - a friend in La Jolla has several cores piled up, but no takers for rebuilds due to parts costs. Whatever you decide though, good luck!


Isn't the Africa-market 745i powered by an M5 motor rather than the turbo 3.5 European 745's have?
