Check the power steer box also, can be readily sourced, however this is a rather large job - ( I've just done mine).

Try and find one with a 5 speed transplant. Also check the window gaskets - esp the front and rear - once again can be sourced but aren't cheap.

what are the common problems with these cars

common rust areas on the body,

interior

etc

Just give me the skinny on your e9's
which I think has the nicest lines ever made by BMW
