Has any one used synthetic ATF in there #@&! borge warner auto. trans. if so, did it help? How many quarts were you able to drain out. I was told that you can idle the motor to drain the ATF out of the torq converter, is this wise? or will it damage the internals? I'm ready to change to Redline high temp. ATF. The thinking is that when the fluid is still cold the trans. shifts fine, but after driving a few miles and shift it back into gear the trans shifts hard into gear. Just needs to survive till enough $$ for 5 speed convertion.
