The M Roadster shifter that Jason brought over that day really didn't look feasable. The lower distance was something like 50mm (90% throw reduction - remember 100% means no movement) so it could hit the D/S. What I really didn't like about it was the straight shaft. I guess with such a short throw on top, you don't need to bend it to clear the console. Also push-on style knob, and how do you get the upper cup, spring and washer on it?

I'd really like to see a picture (top and bottom) of one if these installed. Maybe Jason got a different part.
