I would have to say no on the figure you mention unless you can do the work yourself. I am not a body guy, so take my opinion for what it's worth, but professionals I talk to want 5 to 7k to do a pro paint job without any substantial repair work. And that's if you can find a good body guy that isn't addicted to insurance work only. - Most don't want to do full repaint work.
Front seats are in need of repair as well. If I recall correctly, the dash and wood were okay but not pristine. The buyer of this car should buy it for the fun of driving it, because it does drive well.
I also don't think the polaris/red combo is all that rare. Look for a while.
