drive shaft- 5 speed conversion (archive)

I had a driveshaft shortened for a 5 speed conversion. It was cut for the newer type quibo but I have run into a problem. I can't get the new draftshaft with the quibo to sit up tightly against the trans mount. Has anyone had this problem with the newer type quibo. I could use the older type but would I have to cut and rebalance the shaft. Jim at Metric told me to use the newer type so the information came from good source.
