Most folks find the anachronistic lever confusion amusing, but if you must, the swap takes one socket wrench and a phillips head screwdriver. The self-cancel ring can be turned 180 degrees, as it's held in place by the steering wheel nut.

Pull the steering wheel, remove the lower steering housing half, and swap the levers - it will be pretty obvious what to do once you're in there. Whole job should take about 15 minutes, 10 if you're not drinking beer.
