Question? I have a 72 3.0CS that I had to pull a rear carb off for a starter repair, thought I put it back correctly.I know the timing is off and I am rotating the distributor enough where I can get it to run but it keeps backfiring out of both Webers. Is this strictly a timing problem.I can get it to stop backfiring at about 2000 rpm but lower than that it spits gas out the top about 3 ft.Is there an easy way to get the timing close enough to stop backfiring where I can get it to idle to fine tune it?
