: : It has every option, but heated seats and rear spoiler. Checked the dollar figures with Kelly Blue Book. MSRP is $45,565. Invoice is $39,800.

: if that is really what the invoice is...i am just surprised it has some options (like the wing and forged alloys) and not others (heated seats)

I would have liked the heated seats, but the deal seems too good. Other than that it has everything I would want.

: : It's Dakar Yellow.

: color is very subjective...i personally like the yellow on the M3 (the cops might too :), but HATE it on the roadster (dakar yellow vs dakar yellow II)

Dakar Yellow came out about two months after I bought my Z3. I've liked it ever since. As for the cops...my Z3 is red, so why not have an M3 that is yellow :-) They shouldn't have any trouble spotting me

: : What do you think?

: from what you have said it sounds like a good deal...i see ads for used 97s and 98s for more than 40, so i say go for it! me? i will wait for the E46 M3! :)

The last decision I have to make before the plunge is what to do with my Z. I have an 18 year old daughter who is partial too it :-) This BMW sports car bug I got is crazy...
