Nice to meet the expert! After "searching the web" I think the BL/SS w/ERK is the best choice... which is why I recoemmended your site.
Please keep us posted on your new gadget...
: hi folks,
: considering that I developed the process of the "M Roadster in the M3", wrote the article posted on MZ3.net, an a partner in UUC Motorwerks (www.shortshifter.com), most questions can be answered on the website. However, as you surf the net for the "$50 shift kit" for your $40,000 car, be wary.
: all of our kits are designed for the average joe...very through directions, specialized tools included, and specifically modified shifter levers. we don't just bend a lever, but we have to bend it for the car and we also crimp it since after installing over 100 shifters personally, i've seen what happens to the stock levers over time.
: you're welcome to surf and gather the parts, but we've already had people sending use their pre-purchased lever for us to modify. with over 500 short shift kits out there, so many people can't be wrong.
: we have another part in development which would make the shifter on the M3 even shorter AND smoother. don't wanna give it away, but needless to say, it's very cool.
: any questions, direct them throught the website.
