Help get rid of gasoline smell on the carpet??? (archive)

Dear all,
Afte I went to a gas stataion to put some gas in my 1 gallon container, I happened to spill some on the carpet in the car trunk (Argggggg!!!!!!) And now the trunk really stink, and the smell also leaks into the passenger compartment too. Is there any compound or anything I can use to clean my trunk and the carpet to get rid of the smell????
